Refund Policy

Last updated 1 August 2026

This Refund Policy explains when and how you can get a refund for paid TopStats Analytics plans. It sits alongside our Terms of Service and does not limit the statutory consumer rights you have under the law of your country.

1. Scope

This policy applies to paid subscription plans purchased through TopStats Analytics and billed through our payment provider, Stripe. The Free plan is not billed, so there is nothing to refund.

Where this policy and the mandatory consumer-protection law of your country differ, the rule that is more favourable to you applies.

2. 14-day money-back guarantee

Every paid plan comes with a voluntary 14-day money-back guarantee. If you are not happy with the service, contact us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full, no questions asked.

3. Right of withdrawal for EU and EEA consumers

If you are a consumer in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days, without giving a reason, under the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) as implemented in your country. Some member states grant a longer cooling-off period, so your local law may give you more time.

Because TopStats is a digital service supplied online, if you ask us to begin providing it immediately you acknowledge that you may lose this right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. Our 14-day money-back guarantee above applies regardless, so you are covered either way.

To withdraw, email [email protected] before the period ends. You may use the EU model withdrawal form, but it is not required; a clear statement that you wish to withdraw is enough.

4. Right to cancel for UK consumers

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you have a similar right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. The same digital-service note above applies.

5. Renewals and cancellations

Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.

Beyond the money-back guarantee and any statutory rights described above, payments for a billing period that has already started are non-refundable.

6. How refunds are issued

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through Stripe. They typically arrive within 3 to 5 business days, though the exact timing depends on your bank or card provider.

7. Business customers

If you buy a plan as a business or otherwise outside your capacity as a consumer, the statutory consumer withdrawal and cancellation rights above may not apply to you. The 14-day money-back guarantee still does.

8. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits or replaces the mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country. Where those laws give you stronger rights, they take precedence over this policy.

9. How to request a refund

Email [email protected] from your account email address, telling us your workspace name and which charge you would like refunded. We aim to respond within a few business days.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes are posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
